What Might You Be Bypassing?

August 01, 2024 Kissiah Young Episode 1

Message me!

What happens when we choose not to pause and look within in order to see ourselves and our lives more clearly? Well, for certain we are destined to miss a truth that needs to be seen. We may also cause harm that could have been avoided. Then there is the likelihood that we will repeat patterns of behavior that keep us operating from a place that's lower than our highest form. It's like living from the small self rather than the true self. You know what else? This impacts all aspects of our lives, from our intimate relationships to how we show up at work or with friends, or our children. It happens when we aren't mindful to slow down, to pause, and to investigate ourselves, and it's usually unconscious. When we bypass the pause and carry on as if all is as it should or needs to be, we miss out. Greatly.

Let's talk about bypassing. Let's talk about how NOT bypassing requires an effort of us that we may not wish to exert. Oh, but when we do! That is the real gift. When we exert that effort for ourselves, toward ourselves, and with ourselves, we create a reality that feels more holding, supportive, and connective. I'll start by sharing a bit and perhaps you'll share, too.

Thanks for being here. Always.

Deep gratitude,

~Kissiah
