On The Path with Kissiah Young
Welcome to On the Path!
In this space we explore some of the most tender and painful aspects of life, which happens to also be some of the most meaningful. We reflect on living, dying, and the many layers of life in between. This is a space of vulnerability and healing, of repair and reconciliation. We grow here.

Avoiding It Doesn't Make It Go Away
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
We often turn away from the thoughts, feelings, and moments that are hardest to face. But avoidance doesn't always make them smaller. Sometimes it gives them more room to grow.
In this episode, I reflect on what can happen when we gently turn toward what's difficult—when we name what we're feeling, acknowledge what's here, and discover that simply facing it can begin to loosen it hold on us.
Grateful for listening ear.
