Aging: Meeting Your New Body and Mind

Kissiah Young Episode 61

Unless we die young we are growing older until eventually older becomes what they call old age. As time passes, we come to realize our body and mind begins to change. Perhaps there are more aches and pains, more forgetfulness or short term memory challenges, and if you are a woman, there are the many layers that come with perimenopause. If you're a man, perhaps there are prostate related matters or erectile changes. These kinds of change aren't always easy, yet are inevitable. How are you meeting the changes of your body as you grow older? If are not yet at the point where you feel you qualify for "older," have you given thought to whom you may become and how you might meet your new self?

In today's episode we take a look at the changes that come with age. We find a path and a practice to meet those changes with both grace and humor, because guess what? It is your life, your body, and mine! These are the changes happening to many, if not most, of us, and it's important that we learn how to be with ourselves at all seasons of our lives. Join me!

A deep bow,
