Say What Matters: Cultivating a Foundation of Open Communication

Kissiah Young Episode 48

Communication isn't always easy, but it's essential. So often people quiet themselves for fear of rocking the boat or what another might think, only to carry the burden of not being seen, heard, understood, or well loved. Without a foundation of communication, we can't expect to navigate rough waters, sensitive matters, or our feelings. We end up feeling frustrated, alone, and upset. We see this time and time again in a range of relationships, be that intimate, between parent and child, in friendships, or other "ships."

Today we explore the importance of having a solid foundation of communication and the many ways it shapes our lives, or not, if we don't. We explore ourselves to understand how we do communicate and whether or not it's time to grow toward change.

As always, thank you for your presence.

A deep bow,

~Kissiah

I'd love to hear from you!
